[edit] Today on CNET
Today on CNET consists of a short clip, usually filmed in or around the CNET Headquarters, usually hosted by the most prominent of the hosts on CNET TV (although that streak has been broken with Today on CNET hosted by the cast of The 404 [a podcast on CNET], and it's sometimes hosted by editors and reviewers like Donald Bell). It features the host telling the viewer about the most interesting or entertaining things new to CNET TV on the playlist each day.

Click (previously Click Online) is a weekly BBC television programme covering news and recent developments in the world of consumer technology, presented by Spencer Kelly.

There are three editions of the programme, including two 30-minute programmes: the first is produced for a UK audience and shown on BBC News, the second is produced for a global audience, aired on BBC World News, usually identical with a commercial break in the middle. The 15-minute version is shown on BBC One and BBC News during BBC Breakfast (at the weekend).

Thursday 29 December 2005 marked the last edition of Click Online, as the show was previously known. This coincided with the departure of presenter Stephen Cole after 295 shows. The programme was rebranded with new music and titles and now concentrates more on consumer issues, and not necessarily the internet or what users can do or visit "online".

The current presenter of Click is Spencer Kelly who had already been a reporter and producer on the show, and also compiled reports for The Gadget Show on Five. Kate Russell introduces featured websites in the weekly Webscape segment.

Previous presenters of the show include Stephen Cole who left the BBC to work for Al Jazeera International.

With the departure of Stephen Cole, Rob Freeman is the last remaining on-screen member of the original Click Online team. Responsible for starting the Webscape segment, he currently answers viewers technical questions. Other journalists occasionally present segments of the programme, brief biographies of whom can be found on the Click website.

It is speculated that CNET Live is derived from the CNET Holiday Helpdesk, a show that is broadcast live over the internet during the holidays, helping callers and viewers find gifts.

CNET Mailbag
CNET Mailbag is a show hosted by Molly Wood showcasing feedback, comments, and questions sent to CNET by mail and E-Mail, along with Molly Wood's and CNET's responses to the sent items. It's a weekly show, usually showing up each Wednesday. For about two shows, it was an "every-other-week" show, so Molly Wood would have more time to do Insider Secrets videos, and Quick Tips videos. Fans of the show protested for the show to become weekly again, and CNET gave in. But, in order to make it daily, Molly Wood's other show: Today in Tech History, had to be cancelled in order for Molly to have time to film Mailbag each week.

The Buzz Report is a weekly show (released each Friday) that is hosted by Molly Wood, with Brian Cooley filling in when Molly is unavailable to perform her duties. Brian Cooley filled in each show for a few weeks when Molly was taking care of her newborn baby. It consists of a segment called "The Gadget of The Week", where Molly showcases a new piece of technology each show. Following "The Gadget of The Week" is the news, where Molly reads the most important technology news stories of that week. Three segments have been added recently: "Clogging the Tubes" showcases a big story that many people are talking about and could potentially be an industry-changer. Another segment is named "What the Hell? With Brian Cooley" where Brian Cooley talks about something he finds to be so outrageous that he'd respond: What the Hell?. The most recently added segment on The Buzz Report is "CeWEBrity Deathmatch", where Molly and "the Commentator" Brian Tong will discuss a recent feud that has started among powerful technology or internet figures. Usually, not all segments are shown on each webcast. In fact, sometimes "The Gadget of The Week" and the news are all that the show consists of, probably due to time constraints.
